The Science of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

  1. Totally loved this from the conference and so happy to see it sharable here.

You answered one of my burning questions as to which came first, the retroviruses or the mitochondrial dysfunction. Well, at least that the latter can be first.

I’ve been trying to triangulate all of this for decades and only recently getting the right tests done to confirm both Lyme and the high EBV, CMV, HHV-6 (along with others), thanks to another Bastyr graduate, Dr. Kabran Chapek, Amen Clinics, Bellevue.

I’ve also been trying to get someone to understand the significance of ‘watching’ the data happen with a Whoop device. Whoop themselves don’t even understand the significance of what they have. They thought I was wearing the device wrong or something when I routinely get heavy workout recordings from taking a shower.

Too many doctors want to insist on getting exercise for improvements when I can prove that I fully exceed my body’s capacity for energy output nearly every single day. So nice to have this hard evidence for backup.
