Fees & Insurance
We believe in making your healthcare journey clear and stress free.
Learn about our insurance policies, fees, and payment options below.
Insurance & Your Financial Responsibility
As a patient of BIMS, you are responsible for the total charges incurred from each visit to your practitioner. Charges are to be paid at the time of each visit. We recognize and appreciate that health care can involve major financial commitment. We aim to provide you with highly effective, efficient, compassionate, and affordable health care.
Please remember that you have the primary relationship with your insurance company and you are responsible for the total amount owed at the time of your visit. We will provide you with the appropriate superbill, with the appropriate codes needed for you to be reimbursed by your insurance company. You will need to send the superbill to your insurance company, and your insurance company may or may not reimburse you for all the amounts billed. Before your first visit, you may wish to contact your insurance company or refer to your insurance benefits contract agreement regarding coverage for Alternative and Complementary medical services.

Visits & Consultations Fees
Telehealth Video Consultations
$500/hour, (15-minutes increments) During a telehealth visit, you’ll receive one-on-one time with the doctor to address your health concerns, review your medical history, and discuss any outside records, lab results, or diagnostic imaging. These virtual consultations are designed to provide the same comprehensive care as an in-person visit, all from the comfort of your home.
Email Consultations
$250/hour, (15-minutes increments) Email consultations are ideal for follow-up questions, clarification on treatment plans, or addressing specific health concerns when a full appointment isn’t necessary. The doctor carefully reviews your inquiry, considers your health history, and provides a detailed written response with personalized recommendations. This option offers flexibility and ongoing support between visits, ensuring your care continues seamlessly.
Laboratory Tests & Pharmaceuticals
Recommended laboratory testing and any medications are typically covered by your insurance. Some functional tests may be covered by insurance, but the doctor will discuss pricing with you prior to ordering.
Supplements and Other Natural Remedies
Supplements, or natural remedies tailored to your treatment plan are not typically covered by insurance, but HSA and FSA plans usually do.
Missed Appointment & Cancelation Policy
If a patient missed an appointment or fails to provide at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation, a $75 fee will be charged. However, we understand that special circumstances may arise, so this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note, this charge cannot be submitted to insurance.
